YOUR BROWS BEFORE MICROBLADING:  You have very minimal eyebrows, and the lack of them is the bane of your existence. Every morning for the past five, ten, who knows now years, you would painstakingly fill them in with your trusty The BrowGal Eyebrow Pencil and cringe anytime anyone came near them, lest they smudge off and leave you looking you're half bald.

YOUR BROWS AFTER MICROBLADING: Anyone who benefits from brow pencil could be a candidate for microblading. In just over an hour, you can go from having zero brows to having soft, natural-looking arches. Perfectly filled brows, perfect shape, perfect defined arch from the minute you wake up and to the minute you're doing your nightly skincare routine. 

RESULTS: Wake up flawless. Go swimming on your first date (ha-ha). Shave 15 minutes (or if you're anything like us 45 min) drawing your eyebrows on every morning. Hear that sound? That is the sound of your alarm going off 15 min later!

PROCEDURE: After the area is sanitized and numbed, our tech consults with you on the eyebrow shape that will be drawn on. While you can bring in pictures like a haircut, however, to create a true natural-looking brow, we like to follow the direction of the natural brow hairs and takes into consideration your face symmetry and age. We also consult with you on the pigment of the ink, which is chosen based on the natural colour of the brow hairs and the skin's undertone. Then, we move onto drawing the strokes using the microblading pen, which can take anywhere from 30-40 minutes, depending on the eyebrow area. After the eyebrows are finished, we apply an aftercare ointment to help heal and a follow-up appointment is scheduled for four to six weeks later. 

DOWNTIME: Immediately post-treatment, you will typically experience redness, tenderness and swelling of the skin, which will subside over 1-4 days. The treated area may feel a bit like sunburn afterwards In some cases, bruising may occur. The colour and intensity will be darker and sharper immediately after the procedure. This will reduce by 30-50% over two weeks post-treatment.

Touch Up: We recommend touching up after a month to maintain your ombre powder tattoo. Your second touch up is normally quick and less painful than the first one, but the aftercare healing process is pretty much the same as you did after your first section. We offer a special rate for touch up done within the month period after that full price will apply.
